Dr. Burkhalter completed advanced dental training during her two-year Dental Residency. She is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry.

Life & Hobbies

Born and raised in Monroe, Dr. Burkhalter is a lifelong resident of Louisiana and has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. She is always looking for new continuing education opportunities so she can stay on the leading edge of dental care techniques and technology. Dr. Burkhalter has completed multiple cosmetic and implantology courses and has been named one of Louisiana’s top 50 dentists! Dr. Burkhalter loves to bring humor and music into the office.
 
Despite her light-hearted approach, Dr. Burkhalter takes her profession very seriously. She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry and always puts her patients' comfort and well-being first. Her unique blend of humor and expertise has earned her a loyal following of patients who wouldn't dream of going to any other dentist.

In her personal time, Dr. Burkhalter enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, running around with her Goldendoodle, and expressing her faith through church activities and community service.

Dr. Rome has volunteered with the New Orleans Dream Center and participated in multiple mission trips with Christ the Healer.

She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Baton Rouge Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Dr. Rome grew up and still currently lives in the same neighborhood as many of her current patients near Bluebonnet Dental Care. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, Dr. Rome moved to New Orleans to attend the LSU School of Dentistry, where she graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2012. Upon graduation, she spent 3 years practicing in Harahan before returning to Baton Rouge to serve her community. Outside of the office, Dr. Rome enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, and two boys.

“I was born and raised in Metairie, LA and I’m one of five children. I enjoy spending time with my family and remain close with my parents and siblings. During my time off, I enjoy running, bike riding, and reading. I also enjoy traveling and visiting Disney World with my family. I love all animals and I especially enjoy spoiling my recently adopted tortoiseshell kitten.”
